weekend observations

How was your weekend? I'm still in weekend mode, as it's a long one here. Most of mine has been spent cleaning out the garage and editing pics, but I did fit in a couple of other things as well.....

Love vintage books sans dust jackets.

The wedding ceremony took place near the port of Vancouver, and the reception was at the old Salt building. Beautiful place.

Are you still in weekend mode? What did you get up to?

Pink Panthress, it had to be done and I feel sooo much better now!

Will, it was so sweet! They got married at one of my fave spots in Vancouver, the port, and the Salt building is fantastic.

Jules, that giant bird has been a star in a couple of dreams I've had. ;) Hope you had a great weekend!

Birch and Bird, I hope everyone is happy about the new school year. ;) Catch up soon!

Danielle, I have to take a page out of your book. Weekend mode all the time sounds good!

Homebound, that's fantastic! Did it help you much? I'm sure you learned heaps, but I love the pics you've done in past posts. Just saying. ;)

i love the carousel, and the books are gorgeous. i wish all my books were so beautiful.

we received our boatload from england, and have been swimming in boxes! and spent the weekend walking in the forest and on the beach, and picking blackberries and plums with my sweetheart before he left for england. not long enough - but i adore september.

I love the idea of a simple, rustic wedding - those twinkly lights are so pretty. Love the stacking bowls! And of course, you managed to capture the carousel perfectly. Sounds like a productive weekend! :)

Oh Jansi!
That carousal shot is absolutely gorg! You're photographs take on this dreamy, out-of-this-world quality. They always put a smile on my face and I find them so inspiring.
I adore that wedding you captured...looks like my dream reception. So stunning.

Janis, I think a friend of mine was at that wedding! (Was it Lisa?) I love that area! Jason and I wandered around there a couple of weekends ago. GREAT liquor store! ;)
